Custom Pet Portrait Painting, Oil or Acrylic on Canvas

CUSTOM PAINTINGS MADE IN THE USA - Each custom piece is acrylic or oil hand-painted on canvas by Ohio-born artist, Rebecca Hutchins. My art is real art with paint and not a digital photo. Canvases arrive already stretched and ready to hang on the wall. If it's too large to ship, you have the rolled canvas option available. Message me with all your questions!

Each pet painting is meticulously painted to look just like your fur baby! Send me your pet's photo(s). Also, send me the colors you would like used for the background. This piece was a 5x7, so you can see that details are somewhat limited. the larger pieces allow for more detail.

Pricing listed here is based on one figure. More sizes are available, as well as the oil paint option. I will need more time to allow for oils to dry.

STEPS TO ORDER:

1) I'd love to hear about your pet portrait request! Send your photo references in the message area.

2) After we discuss your piece, please order by first selecting the options.

3) Once your order is placed, I will begin your portrait.

4) I will send you photos of your painting while I paint it to ensure your satisfaction.

5) I will provide a final photo for your approval before shipping. Oil requires more drying time

6) You will receive a tracking number once I ship it. (Usually only a few days with UPS.)

CANVAS TYPES EXPLAINED:

ROLLED CANVAS: Stretching your rolled canvas is an easy DIY with a stretcher bar kit like this: https://www.etsy.com/shop/GetLargePrint?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=1036361401, or you may take it to your local frame shop for finishing. Rolled canvases will include extra painted area so that when stretched, the image wraps around the stretcher bars. Rolled canvases will have less texture used because of rolling issues. (This is an option offered to save shipping costs on very large pieces.)

CANVAS PANEL: When ordering canvas panels, the painting will require a frame. This economy panel is easily framed with a large variety of frame styles and can also be matted, unlike stretched canvases.

5/8” SLIM CANVAS: When ordering slim stretched canvas, the canvas painting arrives unframed and can be hung on the wall since the sides are mirror painted. This depth accommodates a larger variety of frame styles. This canvas is an economy 5/8” deep canvas.

GALLERY WRAPPED STRETCHED CANVAS: When ordering a gallery-wrapped stretched canvas, the canvas painting arrives unframed and if you choose, can simply be hung on the wall since the sides are mirror painted. This canvas is a heavy-duty, high-quality, thick 1-1/2” deep canvas.
